The committee announces that Scairbrook Abbot has almost finished copying the Thomas Sully portrait of Thomas Jefferson for the Albemarle County Courthouse and solicits Society members to cover the cost. The circular has typed signatures of committee members Anna Barringer, Mrs. James K. Symmers, Milton Grigg, Thomas J. Michie and Bernard Mayo.
